At Port Perry School of Music, we create an enriched, welcoming environment where

students of all ages can discover the joy of making music.

Our studios feature Yamaha Pianos, Keyboards, and a Clavinova, as well as a Roland Drum

Set for an exceptional musical experience. Each space is bright, spacious, and child-friendly,

complete with classical artwork and engaging learning materials that make every lesson

interactive and fun.

Our Story

Founded in 2013 by Marie-Therese Gummer, an award-winning pianist, pedagogue, and

co-author of the Pianokids® series, Port Perry School of Music was built on a passion for

high-quality, creative music education. Marie-Therese’s vision was simple: to offer

outstanding instruction in a supportive, community-focused setting. Today, that vision continues to guide everything we do.

 

Educated Faculty 

Our team of dedicated teachers hold Associate Diplomas, University Degrees in Music and Music Education and Certificates in Royal Conservatory of Music Teaching. They bring experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of teaching to every lesson, helping students build skills, confidence, and a lifelong connection to music.
