Port Perry School of Music has been nurturing musical talent since 2013.
As the largest music school in the Scugog Region, we pride ourselves on our programs, with a special focus on Pianokids® Violinkids® Guitarkids® Ukulelekids® and Royal Conservatory of Music.
We provide top-notch music lessons for students of all ages developing to become performers, or just enjoying lessons for fun. Our commitment is to not only meet but exceed your expectations as you embark on your musical journey with us!

Excellence in Music Education
The music studios at Port Perry School of Music are bright and cheerful, with tasteful decor that creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere.
Our two main-floor piano studios are equipped with acoustic Yamaha pianos, offering students an authentic sound and touch essential for their musical development. In our guitar studio, we feature a state-of-the-art Roland drum kit alongside a Yamaha Clavinova, providing a versatile setup.
Teachers use the newest techniques and often incorporate the latest technology and interactive methods to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable.

Port Perry School of Music offers lessons Monday through Saturday at a variety of times, providing flexible scheduling to accommodate even the busiest families.
With so many options available, it’s easy to find a lesson time that works perfectly for your routine!

Performance Opportunities
At Port Perry School of Music, students enjoy a variety of performance opportunities designed to build confidence and celebrate their progress. Each December and June, we host Student Recitals at a local venue. These uplifting concerts allow students to share their music with family, friends, and peers. While participation is encouraged, it is always optional.
​
Beyond our own recitals, students can take part in the Sunderland Lions Music Festival, the Durham Showcase Festival, or pursue examinations with the internationally recognized Royal Conservatory of Music.
In addition, through our membership with the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, students gain access to additional recitals and masterclasses with distinguished educators throughout the school year.

These experiences not only nurture musical growth but also inspire a lifelong love of performance, giving every student the chance to shine!

​Our bright and spacious waiting areas, shared with Port Perry Dance Academy, offer a comfortable and relaxing environment for parents and siblings.
Families can enjoy watching various dance classes or bring some books to enjoy. Complimentary WiFi is provided upon request for your convenience.
